Murdoch has returned for another installment of the perpetual coverage machine. I am proud to be part of Meat Confetti’s inaugural release. Regarding the smaller, more satanic baby, I’m getting to it. The new computer still has new things to explore and I’m trying to avoid blogging too hard. Right now I want to put the computer through its paces. Currently it is updating the enormous music collection, straight from my old computer’s ‘Escape Pod’ better known as an external hard drive. Miss my old computer but it is in a better place where the food is terrific and it never overheats. Heat death was the ultimate downfall of my cheapo last computer, not that this one is remotely expensive either.
Lucy K Shaw visited the US since Murdoch last covered the intrepid young writer. Shabby Doll House is alive and kicking. Did she meet me or just an impersonator? Beach Sloth impersonators are becoming a thing so it is theoretically possible. Who knows? They are everywhere. If you meet a Beach Sloth ask various music-related questions. Once they answer correctly you can be certain they are part of the larger sloth MEMPLEX.
Stephen Michael McDowell is the artist formerly known as Buttercup McGillicuddy. Re-branding is the hardest thing to do. Buttercup knows this well. Few knew Buttercup’s original name. In this alt lit game everyone has a nickname. Elizabeth Ashley Arnold is Neon Glittery, Megan Ass Boyle is Megan Boyle, and STD is Stephen Tully Dierks. Pseudonyms are a thing. What has Mr. McDowell been up to? The answer is everything. His ode to tree-hating ‘Treees’ is out in online bookstores now. A reading tour of only Baltimore is under way with Stephen. Plus, as an additional bonus, he has all these Powerpoint presentations dedicated to woo over Lucy K Shaw.
New genres always happen in the UK. Wish the US would create electronic sub-genres. Ever since the US came up with chillwave it has been sitting on its laurels. We’re living in a post-chillwave world. All our latest genres are nothing more than continuations on old genres. We imported dubstep. Flgruhsjtjjtx is the newest, latest and greatest genre out of the UK. Thankfully the US sent James Ferraro over to check it out. Glad that James Ferraro is America’s ambassador of the weird. He takes pictures of hip new things and brings it back with him to Venice, California while he lives a ‘communal hipster life’ aka my dream.
Guys, Murdoch is back. I am back. This is happening. Prepare yourself for the ultimate cycle of boost that never ends, no it goes on and on my friends. Somebody started blogging it not knowing what it was, and they’ll continue blogging only just because…
