Spacedads: The After Dad

Spacedads brings in the New Year. Austin Islam and Daniel Alexander introduce it. Each of them is proud of the revamp for Spacedads. The work shows. By hyping it up everybody knows. With a chatroom of 60 odd people everyone is completely pleased with the work. Daniel is full of joy. Austin is even more packed with joy. Together the two of them carry the show from host to host.

PC is for PC starts up Walter Mackey’s spot. Dressed beautifully Walter impresses the whole Spreecast chat. Everybody digs the new look. Walter went on a date before the reading. Obviously this helped his beautiful reading. Introducing five brand new ‘QUICKSHIT’ poems Walter is extremely happy to read. Few get to witness Walter’s readings. This is a true rare treat delectable.

Hannah Fantana rocks the tube, the YouTube. Nobody rocks the staring at a computer screen game like Hannah. People in the chat refer to this as some sort of Ana C. next level shit. Is that true? Yes that is true. As other pieces play Hannah eats food. Food is an important source of energy. Over and over again Hannah pretends to cry. Crying is hard to do when all the tears have already been poured out around the eyes.

Stephen Michael McDowell reveals the name of his novel. The name is ‘Planet’. Millions of Alt Lit citizens are excited. Here Stephen reads about the people he had sex with as an astronaut. Few know this but Stephen used to be an astronaut. Originally Stephen wanted to be an astronaut. This was long before his Alt Lit fame. Earth cock is mentioned. So is Venusian pussy. Both of these things will later end up on Porn Hub as tags. Honestly there is a lot of sex around in the poem. Crushing it into the ending Stephen talks about the Vice Magazine article heard around the world. Alt Lit and Vice Magazine will make up, they always do. Until such time the only thing to do is to thank Josh Baines for all the attention. Names are dropped as if they were hot. Honestly they are hot. Every Alt Lit person is hot. Stephen meets with Alt Lit people all the time because he likes being double-teamed friend style.

Nathan Masserang follows right after with a serious breakdown in the old-school style. Wearing a sweet hoodie Nathan Masserang is more than beautiful, he is gorgeous. By seeing another man Nathan hovers like a train. If love or lust helped people move forward than there would be a huge influx of people into the city or out of the city. Transportation needs are not being met by basic public transportation. Repetition of the word ‘shit’ is oddly soothing.

Beach Sloth rocks out with a finale of sorts. Ever since many of those Spreecasts were deleted there has been little footage of Beach Sloth. Beach Sloth reads Rachel Bell’s poem. One can read her poem here. It is a great poem.  From there Beach Sloth does the ‘reading tweets’ thing that’s popular with all the young kids. Honestly Beach Sloth wants people to get laid by the quality of their tweets. Various never before released poems are read from a forthcoming all flarf chapbook that is not yet completed. Picture the most game-changing chapbook involving sex and that might be it. Currently there is no title for the chapbook. Members of the chat want to start a Beach Sloth cult. Beach Sloth fully supports all efforts to start a cult around any online persona, particularly of him.

A vote is held in the chat between reading a piece bashing James Franco and reading a piece bashing Vice Magazine. People choose James Franco. Vice Magazine and Alt Lit appear to have ‘made up’. Good feelings reign over the Vice Magazine/Alt Lit continuum. Somebody asks Beach Sloth “Why do you got to bash on Franco”. Beach Sloth sagely replies with “Why do I have to bash on Franco? Why not, I don’t know.” Then Beach Sloth reads a poem because Beach Sloth makes his own rules. Paul Rizza calls it ‘Bushnell-esque’.  Salisbury Bushnell is an amazing writer. More should check out his work which will include the book #ohso rather shortly. Some have called Beach Sloth ‘an internet rebel without a cause’. Beach Sloth’s true cause remains a mystery.

The blog post is finally read. Overwhelming love flows in and out of the internet. By the time the blog post is all good and read it is goodbye time. Austin Islam reveals something beautiful before the last wave goodbye. To figure out what was said one can re-watch the Spreecast in its splendor.
